Saving Tab Groups for easy restore after Chrome reopens
Unfortunately, the built-in window naming feature in Google Chrome does not persist across browser restarts. When you close and reopen Chrome, the window names will not be saved.
Regarding the Session Buddy extension, it appears that the restoration of window names is not supported. Since the extension hasn't been updated recently, it may not include this functionality.
As an alternative, you can try using the OneTab extension. While it does not have a specific feature for naming windows, it allows you to save and manage groups of tabs as lists. These lists can be restored after restarting Chrome, which can provide a similar outcome to window naming.
