Craig Vogel we hear you. We're actively testing this to work out kinks and will be sure to update here as soon as it's available. In the meantime, to help with more control over the layout on your page we've already add the left and right sidebar layouts to the "Columns" element. You can either add it via the Columns menu item in the main toolbar or by typing in page "/columns" or "/layout".
Copy and OLD editor page to same space or another space and edit
templates only generate new page editor pages now
